Edited by John James Platt, this second volume follows the formula of the first volume as a platform for well-known Ohio Valley persons to contribute specially written content. Farny contributes the story “Doty”, pages 172-181. His title page illustration appears the same, except the date is updated to 1903. He contributes “A Blackfoot Brave” on page 231, along with some unknown number of ornamental drawings (credited at bottom of TOC with a few other artists).
