The Cincinnati Commercial published on May 18, 1877, a note that Frank Dengler, the same sculptor pictured with Frank Duveneck and Henry Farny in a photo from 1874 (seen below), had completed a Farny bust that was on display at Wiswell’s. Frank Dengler passed away two years later in 1879.
I include this item, though it wasn’t done by Farny, but rather of Farny, because I’ve yet to find a photo of it or locate the sculpture’s whereabouts.
