Frank Leslie’s Illustrated Weekly’s November 7, 1874, issue featured Farny’s “Balloon Wedding” illustration. Wedding nuptials in a balloon, touted by PT Barnum’s marketing as the first such event, was advertised via the newspapers like the ad shown below from The Cincinnati Enquirer, October 17th, 1874, page 8:

Farny’s illustration landed on page 133 of the November issue. Unfortunately, he was mis-identified by Leslie’s. The Cincinnati Enquirer took offense to this mistake and issued a correction of its own, though they printed Farny’s last name as Farney (not an uncommon mistake over the years):
