1880-02: “Heath Blossoms” Painting

The Cincinnati Commercial reports for Leap Day in February of 1880 included a glowing review of Farny’s newest painting, “Heath Blossoms“. It was as good as anything Farny had ever done, according to the report. Sadly, I’ve been unable to find an example on the internet.

By April, the painting had joined other paintings for an exhibit in Springfield (Ohio, I presume).
