On September 01, 1883, several Cincinnati newspapers announced that The Week: Illustrated, a new illustrated newspaper, would begin publishing issues starting that same day. Mike Morgan and Henry Farny were said to be drawing images for it.
The premiere September 1, 1883, issue can be found at the Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library in their archives area. On the front page is a drawing by Farny from the recent Cincinnatus Procession.
The library has at least two issues from the magazine. I looked through the second issue, but could find no drawings by Farny. I have found no record as to how many more issues were produced. The Week: Illustrated appears to halted business after just a few issues.
